Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT TIME DOES THE SERVICE START?

St. Johns Cranbourne meets every Sunday at 27 Childers Street in Cranbourne. We have two services.

Prayer Book Service: 9:00-10:00 am
Contemporary Service: 10:30-12:00 pm

HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?

Services last for between an hour to an hour and a half and we aim for the gathering to be both deep and easily accessible. We love that God is building a church of all ages and diverse cultures!

WHERE DO I GO WHEN I GET THERE?

As you walk into the building, our greeting team will meet you and show you where to find the toilets and children’s ministry. If you need anything throughout your time with us, just ask one of the people who greeted you.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Don’t feel like you have to dress up. Most people wear casual clothes, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE SERVICE?

Every Sunday, at all services, we preach from the Bible and celebrate the Lord’s Supper (also known as Communion or the Eucharist). At the close of our time together, we encourage you join us for tea and coffee.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Yes! Our kids usually spend the first 15 minutes in the service before we pray for them and send them out to Kids Ministry for the duration of the sermon. Here, Primary School-aged children learn about Jesus on their level.

Our Kids Ministry is a safe, age-appropriate environment led by a team of people who are passionate to see children know and love Jesus.

CAN I ATTEND IF I’M ______?

Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, broke, addicted, atheist, skeptic… Everyone is welcome!
